Thursday 8th of September is World Physio Day
This year for World Physio Day we’ll be showing you how our physiotherapists can help ‘Add Life to Years’.
We’ll be celebrating the positive impact that physiotherapists have within the community, and how they can help you to keep moving and stay active and independent over throughout your life.
Keeping active is one of the most important things that you can do to maintain and improve your health. Vigorous, supervised exercise, where you get your heart pumping, is protective against heart disease, lung disease, diabetes and even some forms of cancer.
Most importantly, regular physical activity can improve your quality of life so that you can continue to enjoy a full, balanced and active life doing the things that you enjoy – whether that is playing a round of golf with friends, going to watch your favourite sporting team, or spending time with your loved ones.
Our Physiotherapists are passionate about keeping you active and healthy, and apply their expertise of the physical condition to help you to live the life you love. If you are feeling week or deconditioned, speak to your physiotherapist to see how we can help you move and feel better.
To celebrate World Physiotherapy Day we will be holding a range of challenges and mini-competitions in our classes during the week of 5-9th September, so come down and enjoy the fun!
