Classes will be starting from Monday 28/9/15 at 10am.
What is Gym4Backs?
Gym4Backs is a 1-hour strengthening, flexibility and endurance-based class developed around current best clinical practice guidelines for Low Back Pain Management.
The class will challenge your strength and stability in different positions, and will utilise equipment including the Pilates reformers, foam rollers, spiky balls, gym equipment and cardio machines to aid in meeting your goals.
Who can attend Gym4Backs?
Participants can be of any age, with acute or chronic back pain of any origin, who want a structured, individualised program to help manage their back pain. Classes have a maximum of 8 participants per class. There are 2 spots per class available for those unable to get on/off the floor.
Why should I consider this class?
The Gym4Backs class has been designed to specifically address the physical needs of those suffering from back pain, with a combination of exercises that have been supported with strong evidence in current literature to help manage back pain. Gym4Backs is a great option for progression from the Hydro pool to a land-based program, and is a good alternative to our 1:4 classes or Gym-strength classes.

These sessions will be run by our Physiotherapist Adrienne Wright and cost $32.50. Rebates can be claimed through your Private Health Insurance extras.
