Platinum Interval Pilates has been developed by our Platinum Physiotherapists, and builds on classic interval training by incorporating Clinical Pilates. Based on the latest evidence, Platinum Interval Pilates will aim to improve your aerobic capacity by bringing your heart rate to 85% of it’s maximum potential, whilst maintaining its focus on achieving your Pilates goals.
Interval training has well-established benefits, including as increased cardiovascular fitness and endurance, and offers a greater energy burn in a shorter period compared to steady state exercise, making it a more efficient and time effective way to exercise.
Platinum Interval Pilates is a higher level class for those who like a challenge and to build up a bit of a sweat in the Pilates Studio. It’s a fun and upbeat environment, and will get your endorphins going and the heart rate up.
The class consists of 5 minute warm up and cool down/stretching, with 5 minute alternating intervals of cardiovascular exercise and Pilates strengthening exercises. Your limits will be challenged and progressed as you improve.
