Elizabeth is passionate about making exercise enjoyable for every individual’s goals, interests and skill sets. She has a keen interest in prescribing exercise for bone health and management of osteoporosis with physiotherapy. She has worked with athletes across a variety of ages and abilities across junior, amateur and professional sporting teams as a trainer.
Outside of the clinic, Elizabeth has always loved keeping active, participating in a variety of sports throughout her life including dance, netball, cheerleading and the gym. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys a walk with some good music, a good chat with friends and sitting back and watching a replay of the 2023 AFL grand final

James McNally
Physiotherapist
Born in Melbourne and raised in New Zealand, James is thrilled to be back in the community, bringing his broad experience in musculoskeletal private practice. With a focus on combining movement, exercise, manual therapy, and strength-based rehabilitation, James is dedicated to enhancing your quality of life, building resilience, and supporting longevity.
Throughout his career, James has worked with a diverse range of clients, ranging from 9 to 105 years old, and from the general public and elderly care residents to school kids, weekend warriors, and professional athletes. This allows him to tailor treatments to each individual’s needs. He is particularly passionate about pre-operative, post-operative, and non-surgical rehabilitation for all major joints. His ultimate goal is to help you return to the activities you love and, often, achieve things you thought were out of reach.
When James isn’t in the clinic or in the gym himself, you’ll likely find him at an AFL game trying to crack the rules or at home cooking up a storm.

Stefan relocated to Melbourne to continue progressing his career internationally and joined the Platinum Phyisotherapy. Since moving to Australia, he has continued developing his sports physiotherapy experience and currently works with Harlequins Rugby Club in Ashwood.
Stefan believes strongly in the motto: “Rest is rust and motion is lotion.” His treatment approach focuses on helping patients stay active in ways that are meaningful to them while working towards long-term pain reduction, improved function, and confidence in movement. He values understanding each person’s story and goals, taking a holistic approach that recognises the connection between physical health, mindset, lifestyle, and environment.
Outside the clinic, Stefan enjoys bouldering, weightlifting, rugby union, and spending time outdoors hiking or camping. He is also a PADI-certified Rescue Scuba Diver and has a strong passion for sports rehabilitation and performance.

Sam Gowans

Sam is a friendly and caring Physiotherapist who loves to work with people to meet their goals and get the most out of their bodies. Sam grew up in Tasmania before making the move to the big island to pursue his studies in Physiotherapy. H
e has worked across a variety of clinical areas including sports, paediatrics and disability focused settings. Sam understands that everyone’s bodies are different and he tailors his treatment to suit each individual.
His favourite part of Physiotherapy is finding out what matters most to each of his clients in their rehabilitation or even just how their day’s going.
Exercise and sport is at the centre of Sam’s life, having played many different sports growing up including Cricket, Footy, Basketball and Water Polo. These days he spends his time running, swimming, learning new songs on the guitar and trying to fix his slice on the golf course.
Sam is always up for a chat and is happy to give lots of recommendations for your next Tasmanian road trip.
